Formation is a body contouring and weight loss clinic in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Gopal Grandhige is a board-certified surgeon specialising in high-definition body contouring and incisionless weight loss procedures — gastric balloon, sleeve gastroplasty, and the full range of surgical body contouring work including high-definition liposuction, tummy tuck, FaceTite, and BodyTite. The practice serves men and women across the Tampa area.
The brief.
Most body contouring websites draw from the same visual well. A particular body type. A particular demographic. A narrow idea of what results are supposed to look like. Dr. Grandhige came to this project with a clear point of view about that: it wasn’t what he wanted, and it wasn’t what his practice actually looks like.
His patient base spans different body types, ages, and ethnicities. He wanted a site that reflected that — not as a positioning decision, but as an accurate representation of the practice. That direction came from the surgeon. The color palette came from the surgeon. The studio’s job was to take that brief and build something that made it work visually without losing the premium quality the practice needed to communicate.
That’s a harder brief than it sounds. It’s straightforward to build a site that looks premium by narrowing what it shows. It takes more to build one that stays premium while expanding it.
What was built.
The website.
The site covers the full scope of Formation’s work. High-definition liposuction, body contouring, tummy tuck, FaceTite, BodyTite, PDO threads, and injectables each have dedicated procedure pages. Gastric balloon and sleeve gastroplasty each have their own section, giving the non-surgical side of the practice the same depth as the surgical.
The blog features clinical articles written by Dr. Grandhige and his team. These aren’t filler content — they go into the specifics of the procedures he performs and how they work, which positions him as an authority in a specialty where patient education genuinely matters.
The site is in English and serves the Tampa market.
The visual direction on this project came from the surgeon. The studio’s job was to execute a brief that asked for more than most body contouring sites ask for, without letting that ambition come at the cost of the quality the practice needed to convey.
